In 1967, they moved to Enid and they both went to work for Blakemore Brothers Food Store, which later became Ideal Foods. They left Ideal Foods to lease a meat market from Morris Thrifty Wise Food Store. Later they opened and operated Hinderliter’s Meat Market for 13 years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of Eastern Star.

She is survived by her children, Betty Patterson and husband Jim of Edmond, OK, Bert Hinderliter and wife Mary Beth of Enid, Brenda Zwiefel and husband Doug of Carrier; sisters, Opal Catlin of Buffalo and Doris Cummings of Norman, OK; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
