A Celebration of Life for LaDonna M. Hiatt, age 82 years, of Enid, is 10 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 2017, at St Paul's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Kenneth Wade officiating. Burial follows in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2017, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
LaDonna was born Nov. 22, 1934, in Cherokee, to Leonard and Leona (Wardell) Rudy, and passed away Monday, July 10, 2017, in Enid. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. She married Verneal Hiatt Feb. 7, 1953, in Fairmont. She was a licensed beauty operator for several years, then owned and operated Nannie's Nursery for 33 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of Oklahoma Delta Theta Chi, and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
LaDonna is survived by her husband Verneal Hiatt, of the home in Enid; three children, daughter, Anita Chance; sons, Roger Hiatt and wife Terri; Bryan Hiatt and wife Annette, all of Enid; two brothers, Chester Rudy and wife Ronda, of Harrison, Idaho; Dan Rudy and wife Judy, of Ada; six grandchildren, Jason Chance, Jami Chance, Paige Adasiak and husband Colby of Enid; Alicia Hiatt, of Enid; Ty Hiatt, of Enid; and step-grandsons, Stacy Chance; Matt and Adam Holsey of Enid; and twelve great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Leona Rudy, and son-in-law, Larry Chance.
Memorials in LaDonna's name may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.

Funeral services for Verneal Richard Hiatt will be held 11:30 a.m., Monday, Dec. 28, 2020, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with Rev. David Reber Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Verneal was born July 24, 1930, in Fairmont, Okla., to Lawrence and Martha (Hamann) Hiatt and passed away Dec. 22, 2020, surrounded by his family. He graduated from Fairmont High School.
Verneal was drafted Feb. 21, 1951, into the Army, where he served in the Korean War. He married LaDonna Rudy on Feb. 7, 1953. Verneal worked as a carpenter for different contractors for 52 years. He was also a member of the American Legion. Verneal was a major leader in the Boy Scouts and also enjoyed coaching baseball. He loved going to Canton Lake and to go fishing.
Verneal is survived by his children, Anita Chance, Roger Hiatt and his wife Terri, and Bryan Hiatt and his wife Annette; grandchildren, Jason Chance, Jami Chance and her spouse Rubin McBride, Paige Chance, Alicia Hiatt, Ty Hiatt and Stacy Chance; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, LaDonna Hiatt and brother, William Hiatt; son-in-law, Larry Chance.
Memorial donations can be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
