The funeral service for Paul Nordan Henry will be 2:00pm, Wednesday, October 28, 2020 in the Henninger~Hinson Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Drew Drawbridge officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Paul was born May 10, 1936 in Ava, Missouri to Julius V. and Sarah Annis (Woody) Henry and passed away October 24, 2020 in Enid.

On February 23, 1963, he married Lois Jean Shortnacy in Enid where the couple made their home. Paul proudly served his country in the United States Army. After his honorable discharge, he worked for the City of Enid Street Department for over twenty-two years, working his way up to Superintendent before retiring.

He relished nature and the outdoors but especially enjoyed fishing. His greatest passion, however, was his family and the love of his grandchildren.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Lois; children, Steve Henry and Scott Henry; grandchildren, Hunter Henry; Storm Henry and wife, Lindsey; Jacob Henry; great-grandchildren, Shane and Wyatt Henry; sisters, Betty Slaten and Daisy Johns as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Lois Kenny; Odean Cagle; Nancy Cagle; Ruth Carter and Jr. Henry.

Memorials can be given to Elara Hospice with the funeral home acting as custodian of the fund.
