ENID, Okla. — Celebration of Life service for Rhonda Karen Heim will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Enid, Okla. Pastor Kenneth Wade and Pastor Scott Whittenburg will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Rhonda was born April 26, 1956, in Jefferson City, Mo., to parents Eugene and Ruth (Batesman) Dollar.

Rhonda worked as a respiratory therapist at Bass Hospital and a financial counselor at St. Mary’s Hospital. She also worked at the Garfield County Health Department. Rhonda worked for DDSD, a foster-grandparent program.

She was a volunteer for CASA for several years in an effort to help foster children.

Rhonda lost her valiant fight to cancer on Sunday, July 13, 2014, at her home.

She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene “Red” Dollar; sister, Mary Batesman; and brother, Maxwell Eugene Dollar.

Rhonda is survived by husband, Mike Heim of the home in Enid; her mother, Ruth “Silver” Dollar of Enid; two daughters, Michele Reed and husband Troy of Enid, and Rebecca Hammer of Newcastle, Okla.; son, Max Heim and wife Crystal of Enid; seven grandchildren, Case Heim of Enid, Jordan and Timothy Hammer of Broken Arrow, Okla., Joe Reed, Corbin Reed, Lathan Heim and Maddox Heim, all of Enid; brother, Harland Dollar of Oklahoma City; and sister, Angie McCormack of Houston, Texas.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Enid, Okla.
