A Celebration of Life service for Ramon Hayes, 75, Enid is 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Scott Whittenburg and the Rev. Kenneth Wade officiating. Burial follows in Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Ramon was born June 18, 1941, in Enid, to Clarence and Doris Dusing Hayes, and passed away Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, at his home. He attended and graduated from Hillsdale High School in 1959. He attended Oklahoma State University, graduating in 1964, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture.

Ramon married Sandra Dierksen on August 25, 1961, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Ramon was a lifetime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where he served in several capacities including the choir, men's quartet and as chairman of the congregation and Elders. Ramon farmed all of his life, and also worked at Gold Spot for 24 years as a quality control supervisor, was a real estate agent for Caldwell Bankers for 5 years, and was a salesman for Janzen GMC for 23 years retiring in 2014.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sandra; daughter, Ginger Ingels and husband, Andy, of Enid; son, Russell and wife, Shannon Hayes, of O'Fallon, Ill.; grandchildren, Cody, Kaleb, and Luke; great-grandchildren, Ashton and Jude; and several other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.

May 27, 1943 - May 30, 2021

A Celebration of Life service for Dr. Sandra L. Hayes, age 78 of Enid will be 10:00 am Friday, June 4, 2021 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Rev. David Reber and Rev. Kenneth Wade officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5:30 to 6:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Sandra was born May 27, 1943 in Hennessey to Albert L. and Winona Lucille Jacobs Dierksen and passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021 in St. Mary's Hospital. Sandra graduated from Hennessey High School in 1960, earned her Bachelor of Science (Home Economics Education) from Oklahoma State University in 1964, Master of Education (Learning Disabilities, Reading Specialist) from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in 1986, and Doctor of Education (Curriculum and Instruction) from Oklahoma State University in 1991. Sandra's education career included Garber High School, Chisholm Elementary School, and as a Professor of Education for 18 years at Northwestern Oklahoma State University (Alva and Enid campuses). Dr Hayes has three professional publishing before she retired on May 7, 2007 with honors as "Professor Emeritus of Education" From Northwestern Oklahoma State University.

Sandra was married at St Paul's Lutheran Church on August 25, 1961 for 55 years to her late husband, Ramon Hayes. Sandra has been a lifelong member of St Paul's Lutheran Church and choir, Big Band Dance Club of Enid, and Garfield County Republican Women.

She is survived by her daughter, Ginger Ingels of Enid; son Russell and wife Shannon Leigh Hayes of Rapid City, South Dakota; grandchildren; Cody and wife Mercedes Ingels of Breckinridge, OK, Kaleb Ingels of Enid, and Luke Hayes of Rapid City, South Dakota; great grandchildren Ashton, Jude, Keller, Kylo and Leo; sister, Shirley; brother, Doug and his wife Beth Dierksen of Valley Mills, TX and many other loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon and her parents.
