January 20, 1961 - May 11, 2013

The funeral service for Terry Craig Hawkins, 52 year-old former Enid resident will be Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 10:00AM in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel.The Rev. Kevin Choate will officiate. The Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Terry was born January 20, 1961 in Enid to Jesse and Connie(Bishop) Hawkins and died Saturday, May 11, 2013 in St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. He attended local schools and graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1979. He also attended Autry Vo-Tec welding program. He worked with the George E. Failing Company for nine years as a welder and owned and operated Hawk’s Gun Shack.

He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed watching westerns and sports, was a fan of NASCAR, collected Coca-Cola memorabilia, but mostly enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

He is survived by his daughter Cynthia Davis and husband Nick, of Weatherford, OK., his mother Connie Hawkins, of Enid, one granddaughter, Regan, one brother, Carroll Drake, of Waldorf, Maryland, one sister Cheri Thompson of Enid. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who treated him like a brother.

He was preceded in death by his father Jesse Carl Hawkins, and one brother, Wayne Hawkins.

The family wishes to thank all of the outstanding caregivers that Terry had throughout the years. Your kindness and compassion was and is deeply appreciated.
