March 17, 1947 - January 22, 2020

The Graveside services celebrating and honoring the life of Norman Dale Hatfield, 72, of Enid will be held at 02:00 P.M. Saturday January 25, 2020 in the Mausoleum in the Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Kelly Russell officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

He was born March 17, 1947 to Richard and Norma Lee Brewer Hatfield in Enid, Oklahoma and passed from this life on January 22, 2020 in Enid, Oklahoma.

He was raised and educated in Enid where he graduated from High School. He was active in the schools wrestling program. Following graduation, he attended Oklahoma State University where he received his Master’s in Arts and English Norman was on the Enid Fire Department for several years. He was the owner-operator of Shamrock Firearms. He always encouraged critical thinking, loved his family and most of all he loved his grandchildren. On October 15, 2010 he married Pamela Sue Roark in Enid, Oklahoma. He was a member of the First Baptist Church where he sang in the choir.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Hatfield and mother Norma Hatfield; daughter Angie Koechel and husband Keith, grandchildren Hayden and Kalin; daughter Jennifer Teague and husband Andy, grandchildren Tyson, Garrett, Kobe, and Camden; son, Jeff Hatfield, grandchildren Emma and Katie and brother Mark Hatfield and wife Roxie.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Hatfield, and infant twin grandchildren.
