Dr. Norman M. Harris, 60, 2818 Longview Dr., died early this morning in an Enid hospital.

A doctor of osteopathy, Dr. Harris came to Enid from Amarillo, Texas, 13 years ago and was associated with the Gau Clinic and later opened his own office. He retired from practice two years ago.

He was a graduate of Kansas City College of Osteopathy and a member of the College of Surgeons. Dr. Harris was born in Chickasha, was a member of the Emmanuelle Baptist Church, the Khiva Shrine Temple in Amarillo and the Enid Shrine Club.

He is also a past director of the Greater Enid Chamber of Commerce and a former member of the Enid Rotary Club. He is a member of Garfield Masonic Lodge 501 and the El Paso Scottish Rite.

Services will be at 10 AM Thursday in Emmanuelle Baptist Church with C. Mack Roark officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.

Masonic graveside rites will be directed by Masonic Lodge 501 of Enid.

He is survived by his widow, Marian, of the home; two sons, John and Lowell, both of the home; his mother, Mrs. Grace Harris, Santa Ana, California; his father, Guy Harris, El Reno, and a brother Kenneth, Oakley.
