January 15, 1951 - April 2, 1993

The funeral for Michael Wayne Harger, 42, will be at 2 PM Tuesday at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The Reverends Terry Immel and Tom Frisbe will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

He was born January 15, 1951, in Enid to Charles and Wilma Harger and died Friday, April 2, 1993, at Bass Baptist Hospital. He and Billye McSparrin were married on August 16, 1974, in Enid. He served in Germany with the U.S. Army for two years, and at the time of his death was employed at Vance Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic.

Harger helped with his son's soccer team, coached his daughter's softball team, The Rebels, and was a mentor to many local children.

Surviving are his wife; one son, Cason Michael of the home; one daughter, Joni Catherine of the home; his parents, Charles and Wilma Harger of Enid; one brother, Marion of Oklahoma City; and two nephews.
