Services for Joseph Francis Hardy were held Saturday. 24 February 1990 under the direction of Ladusau Evans Funeral Home. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.

He was born 9 January 1911 in Webb City , Missouri to George and Margaret Hardy and passed from this life on 22 February 1990.

He was a member of the US Army where he spent time as a POW.

He married Ruth Elizabeth Hardy . They had no children.

After the war, he was employed with Sears as a shoe salesman. He later went to work in the advertising department for the Enid News and Eagle and moved up to advertising manager and then retired as advertising director.
