The funeral for Billy W. Hardage, 71, of Enid, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at University Place Christian Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrange-ments are by Hennin-ger-Allen Funeral Home.

He was born Nov. 12, 1935, in Westville, to Luke Hardage and Maggie Innis Hardage, and died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, in Enid.

He served in the Marine Corps. He then attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University, receiving his bachelor of arts degree in business.

He married Linda Lindley July 30, 1960. He worked for Railway Express as a manager in Dallas, Chicago and Enid from 1962 to 1974. He joined Bankers Life and Casualty as an agent from 1974 until retirement in 1998. He was a member of Cleveland Road Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife Linda, of the home; one son, Miles Hardage of Enid; four grandsons, one granddaughter, three great-grandsons and numerous brothers.

He was preceded in death by one son and one brother.
