Celebration of Life service for Dorothy M. Haley, 89, of Enid, Okla., will be 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, at Ladusau-Evans Chapel, with the Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Dorothy was born March 23, 1925, in Okeene, Okla., to John and Hannah Nusz Hoffman and passed away Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, at Greenbrier Skilled Nursing Home.

She attended school in Ringwood.

She married Kenneth Haley on Dec. 22, 1946. He passed away Dec. 5, 1982. They lived in Enid their entire life.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, Bill and wife Martina Haley of Enid and Richard Haley of Claremore, Okla.; two grandsons, Scott and wife Tiffany Haley of Broken Arrow, and Curtis Haley of Moore; one great-grandson, Alex Haley; one sister, Iva Nusz of Yukon; and several other family members.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

Kenneth L. Haley, 59, 1557 S. Jackson, died Sunday, December 5, 1982, after a period of ill health.

The funeral will be at 2 PM Wednesday in Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Doctor T. A. Chick officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Haley was born November 7, 1923, in Enid and attended Enid school system. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the United States Army. In 1946, he and Dorothy Hoffman were married.

Haley was employed by Frisco Railroad, retiring in 1976 due to ill health. He was also affiliated with the Bible Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; two sons, Kenneth Richard Haley, Clyde, Texas, and Bill Haley, of the home; two grandsons; and two sisters, Vermalle Martin and Mrs. Roy A. (Glenda) Rylant, both of Enid.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
