Hester "Elizabeth" Huenergardt
Nov. 2, 1920 ~ Nov. 25, 2006

The funeral for Hester "Elizabeth" Huenergardt, 86, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Central Christian Church. The Rev. John McLemore will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

She was born Nov. 2, 1920, in Goltry, to James Orville and Eva Cummings Campbell, and died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006, in Enid.

She grew up in the Goltry area where she attended and graduated from Goltry High School. She married Dick Rogers Jan. 27, 1939. He died in 1980. After their marriage they moved to Covington for a short time and to Denver where they lived for four years. In 1945, they moved back to Oklahoma to a farm southwest of Hunter. In 1958, they moved to Enid. She attended and graduated from Beeches Beauty School. She opened and operated Elizabeth s Beauty Salon. She served as president of Enid Hair Dressers Association in 1968. She married Ted Huenergardt in 1981. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sons, C.J. Rogers of Grand Lake and Kirby Rogers of Enid; one brother, Delbert Campbell of Enid; five grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Dick and Ted; one brother; and one grandchild.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF) Alzheimer s Division.
