Richard Bruce Hoeltzel
April 30, 1937 - May 9, 2023

A Celebration of Life Service for Richard Bruce Hoeltzel will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 15, 2023, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with Rev David Reber, Jr., officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Richard was born April 30, 1937, in Enid to George and Hertha (Schroeder) Hoeltzel and went to his heavenly home May 9,2023.

He graduated from Pioneer High School class of 1955. Richard married Erma Cutler on December 2, 1961; together they adopted a daughter, Pamela Diane, and a daughter, Robyn Lynn, was born to them. They made their home on the family farm southeast of Enid.

Richard is survived by his daughters, Robyn Guest and husband David of Edmond, OK, Diane Holsted and husband Larry of Yukon; three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; sister, Connie Lewellen and husband Dick; sister-in-law, Edythe (Vicki) Hoeltzel; his beloved dog, Miss N; and a host of friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; the love of his life, Erma Hoeltzel; granddaughter, Kacie Mayhan; and brother, Michael Hoeltzel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Academic Foundation for the Richard Hoeltzel Scholarship, with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
