Erma Louise Hoeltzel
May 6, 1942 - September 17, 2015

Erma Louise Hoeltzel went to her heavenly home Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015. Erma was born May 6, 1942, in Mulhall, Okla, to Charles E. Cutler and Louise (Walkenhorst) Cutler, the youngest of seven children.

She married Richard B. Hoeltzel Dec. 2, 1961; together they adopted a daughter, Pamela Diane, and a daughter, Robyn Lynn, was born to them. Erma and her husband made their home on the family farm southeast of Enid, Okla. Erma worked as a hairdresser for many years, and owned her own beauty shop. Throughout her marriage, she assisted her husband on the family farm. She volunteered in many of her daughters' school and extra-curricular activities; she also served in several church groups. Erma was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Erma is survived by her husband, Richard Bruce, of the home; daughters, Robyn Guest and husband David of Edmond, Okla, and Diane Halsted and husband Larry of Yukon, Okla; three grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a sister, Wanda Tidwell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, four sisters and a special niece, LaDonna Grace Harper.

Erma was always a blessing to her family and friends, giving emotional support and counsel; she gave everything that she could to family, friends and anyone she encountered in need. She was strong in her faith in God and our Savior Jesus Christ, and it is of great comfort to her loved ones to know she is now with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in her Heavenly home.

Family visitation will be at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home in Enid, Okla, 6-7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, at Zion Lutheran Church in Fairmont, Okla. Pastor Timothy Dorsch will officiate. Cremation will follow the service under direction of Ladusau-Evans.
