Carol Jean HENDERSON

Memorial Park Cemetery

August 5, 1957 - November 17, 2021

A Celebration of Life service for Carol Jean Henderson, age 64, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 22, 2021, at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel in Enid, Oklahoma, with Pastor Seth Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid, Oklahoma, with Ladusau-Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends 2:00~4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 21st, at the funeral home.

Carol was born August 5, 1957, in Enid, Oklahoma, to Roy and Ellen (Carter) White, and passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at her home in Fayetteville, Arkansas, in the presence of her loving family.

Carol was fierce and strong-willed. She showed that ferocity and strength in her daily life, even more so when she was diagnosed with cancer in 2018. For over three years, she faced every doctor's appointment, treatment or surgery with grace and bravery. She was passionate about her family. When her children were younger, she and Bill never missed the girls' activities. She loved watching their sporting events and stock shows, and she enjoyed riding motorcycles and fishing with Bill.

Carol was a devoted wife and mother, but her most favorite title was "Grandmother." When she wasn't in the stands cheering the boys on at their pig shows and ball games, she was finding new ways to spoil them. Billy Joe and Braxton kept her days full as well as her heart, especially through the last weeks of her battle.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Bill Henderson, to whom she married on May 3, 1980. Together, she and Bill have two daughters who survive them, Savannah Blankenship and husband Justin, of Siloam Springs, AR, and McKenzie Henderson, of Bartlesville, OK; two grandsons, Billy and Braxton Blankenship; three sisters, Linda Zaloudek, of Enid, OK, Sue Streich, of Wylie, TX, Sharon Geminden, of Plano, TX; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Memorial contributions in Carol's name may be made to Circle of Life Hospice of Springdale, Arkansas, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.

Condolences may be made, memories shared, and services viewed online at www.ladusauevans.com.
