ENID, OK — Funeral service for Rusty Leroy Fuller, 43-year-old former Enid resident, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Mike Watts will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Rusty was born Aug. 11, 1970, in Enid, Okla., to Cleo and Joyce (Davidson) Fuller and died Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, in Enid.

He attended local schools and graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1988.

While at Enid High, he lettered in wrestling. He then attended Garden City Community College on a wrestling scholarship. He then attended UCO in Edmond, where he obtained a double-history degree. He later continued his studies at Troy University of Alabama, studying for his Master’s of Science in international relations, where he learned to speak Mandarin. He also furthered his history studies at Florida Atlantic, where he also taught history.

He first began working with Voicestream in Oklahoma City and became district manager for T-Mobile. He later moved to West Palm Beach, Fla., where he managed a Target. Two years ago in 2011, he began working for Microsoft as a business development manager. Rusty also started a radio program online called loosegalaxy.com.

Rusty was a member of Kappa Pi Fraternity. He enjoyed wrestling, golfing and swimming. He served as a lifeguard in Edmond. He also loved picking on his several nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his parents, Cleo and Joyce Fuller of Enid; four brothers, Rodney Fuller of Tulsa, Randy Fuller and wife Linda of Enid, Reggie Fuller and wife Becky of Pearland, Texas, and Rich Fuller and wife Lori of Enid; and his longtime friend, Amy Lide. He also is survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and many aunts and uncles.

Memorials may be made through Henninger-Hinson to the charity of donor’s choice or the SPCA, the Shriner’s Travel Fund, or Furever Friends of Enid.
