February 12, 1943 - February 03, 2018

A Celebration of Life service for Janice "Jan" M. Froese, age 74, of Enid, is 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018, in the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Richard Stephens officiating. Burial follows in Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends 6-7:00 p.m. today, February 8, 2018, at the funeral home.

Jan was born February 12, 1943, in Walton, KS, to Clifford and Ruby Schmidt Cornelsen and passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018, in Integris Health Edmond.

Jan was raised in Newton, KS, where she attended and graduated from Newton High School. Jan moved to Enid in 1960, and married Stanley J. Froese on July 20, 1963 in Newton, KS.

She received her X-Ray Tech certification from St. Mary's Hospital in 1963. Jan was a member of Grace Mennonite Church. She worked for St. Mary's Hospital as an X-Ray Tech before moving to Dallas in 1965. They moved back to Enid in 2008. She worked for Springs Internal Medicine until she retired in 2016.

Jan is survived by her husband Stan, daughter Nancy Allen and husband Eugene of Richardson, TX, grandchildren; Catie Martin, Sarah Martin, and Grace Allen, sister Barbara Leckington and husband Ron of Idaho Falls, ID, brother Ken Cornelsen and wife Connie of Wichita, KS, and several other family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be made to Grace Mennonite Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
