A Celebration of Life Service for Orin F. “JR” Francis age 81 of Enid will be 10:00 am Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at Emanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Wade Burleson officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

“JR” was born November 24, 1934 to Orin F. and Ruth Elkins Francis, Sr and passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 in St. Mary’s Regional Hospital. He attended and graduated Enid High School in 1952. He graduated from Enid Business College in 1955. He married Earlene F. Chadwick on April 1, 1955, and two children were born Jacquelene and Tim Francis. He married Barbara Kirkland Berends on June 23, 1970, in Enid.

JR was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. He worked for Champlin Refinery and Citgo for his entire career, retiring in 1997, as a Measurement Specialist Supervisor.

JR is survived by his wife Barbara of the home, children; Jacquelene Francis of Stroud, OK, Tim and his wife Rhonda Francis of Tampa, FL, Phillis Foster and husband Mike of Eagle River, AK, and Arlene Neff and husband Michael of Highland Village, TX, seven grandchildren, Kayla and Kristopher Francis, Andrea and Tyler Foster, Connor, Erin, and Ryan Neff, a great granddaughter Madison, sister-in-law Janice Francis, and nephews Jeff and Michael.

He was preceded in death by parents and his brother Jerry Francis.

Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church or St. Jude Children Research Hospital with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodians of the funds.
