The funeral for Verla M. Forshee, 72, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Lester Lowry will officiate. Burial will be in Gar-den Chapel of Memo-rial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

She was born Jan. 3, 1935, in Moline, Ill., to Clinton and Lucille Metz Crawford and died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.

She attended school in Moline. She married Earnest Forshee Oct. 8, 1955. They moved to Enid in 1975. She was a member of Evangel Assembly of God Church.

Surviving are her husband, Earnest, of the home; five children, Ron and Tim Forshee, both of Enid, Sande Barton of Waukomis, Mike Forshee of Pratt, Kan., and Jeanine Chattam of Enid; two sisters, Sharon Rowland and Monna Younger; one brother, James Crawford; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and one grandson.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Evangel Assembly of God Church.
