A Celebration of Life and Remembrance for Mary Katherine “Kathy” Fisher, age 61 years, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Jim Edmison will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Kathy passed away Friday, October 30, 2015.

Kathy was born July 26, 1954, in Enid to parents Lester Weber and Margaret (Carris) Weber. She lived in Enid all her life, graduating from Enid High School in 1972. She worked at Enid Memorial Hospital and later at Enid State School (NORCE) until her retirement. She was blessed with a daughter, Lesley, who was born in 1983. She married William Fisher March 23, 1993. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren, Connor, Carris, and Arieanna. She was affectionately referred to her as “Aunt Kaka” by her nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

She enjoyed watching the kids’ sporting events and was always their number one fan. She enjoyed watching Thunder basketball and OSU football. She liked attending craft shows and making various, different things. She was a collector of Mickey Mouse and Boyd’s Bears, having thousands of different collectibles. Kathy was a very generous person, always making sure others had whatever they needed, whether it was clothing, food, or a place to stay.

She leaves behind her two dogs, Rudy and Gracie, and one cat, Gizmo. Kathy was always “rescued” by animals who needed to be loved.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law Clifford Skaggs, her kitty Jinx and dog Gretta.

She is survived by her husband, William “Harold” Fisher; daughter, Lesley Weber-Sanderson and significant other, Adam Hulsey; three sisters, Charolette Skaggs, Sue Unruh and husband Jim, Doris Campbell and husband Mark; one brother, Leslie “Butch” Weber; three grandchildren, Connor, Carris, and Arieanna; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends.

Memorials may be made to SPCA of Enid with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of funds.
