Walter D. Felzke, longtime Tulsa attorney, died Thursday, January 26, 2017. He was 92. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2017, at the Memorial Park Cemetery chapel.

Felzke was born in Leavenworth, KS, graduated from Leavenworth High School, and served in the U.S. Air Force for three years during WWII in First Radio Squadron, Mobile, a part of the Fifth Air Force. After WWII, he married Ann M. Moderhak on May 29, 1948. He graduated with his bachelor's degree from Kansas State University and earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Tulsa. Walter was baptized on January 26, 1964, at Southminster Presbyterian Church. He became a member of John Calvin Presbyterian Church and served in many capacities, including Deacon, Elder, Sunday school teacher and legal adviser. A wonderful Christian man, who was known for his friendly personality and quick wit, he will be truly missed. He is survived by his loving family.

Preceded in death by his wife, Ann Margaret Moderhak Felzke.

Survived by son, Paul A. (Donna) Felzke of Tulsa, OK; daughters, Janie (Jim) Pearce of Enid, OK, and Christine (Greg) Devlin of San Bruno, CA; grandchildren, Joseph (Veronica) Felzke, Ellen Felzke (Mason) Rowell, Emily Pearce, Katie Pearce, and Elizabeth Devlin; great-grandchildren, Emma Rowell, Clara Rowell, Penelope Pearce, and Rebel Mountain.
