A Celebration of Life for Neva Maurine (Crouse) Felix, 93, Enid, is 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, with Mr. John Chambers, minister, officiating. The interment follows at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. today, Oct. 13, 2016, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Felix passed away peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016. She was born Feb. 25, 1923 in Enid, the daughter of Henry and Maude Smith Crouse. Neva grew up in Pond Creek and graduated from Pond Creek High School. She attended Tonkawa Junior College, studying secretarial and business administration. She was united in marriage to George D. Felix Jr. He preceded her in death July 31, 2006. They enjoyed life together, each being hard working, with Neva as a stay-at-home homemaker and loving mother to her sons. She always had a big warm smile on her face and loved life to its fullest, along with being the super-glue of a close knit bonded family. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family as being one of the sweetest, kindest and caring ladies on the face of the earth.

Survivors include two sons, Dennis G. Felix, of Enid; Douglas E. Felix, of Hurst, Texas; two grandchildren, Matthew D. Felix, and Nicki (Felix) Gardner; and sister-in-law, Neva Lorraine Strait, of Haysville, Kan.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Mildred Barnes and Muriel (King) Bradford.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, or the American Cancer Society, with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.

The service may be viewed and condolences may be made at www.LadusauEvans.com.
