Jerry Eugene Frisk

DECEMBER 12, 1938 - NOVEMBER 19, 2021

Jerry Eugene Frisk fought the good fight and finished the race, November 19, 2021. Jerry was born December 12, 1938 in Enid, Oklahoma. He was a loving son, husband, father and friend. He was passionate about sports including baseball, softball, bowling, fishing and golfing. Jerry embraced life and people with his beautiful smile.

Jerry attended Oklahoma State University and was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity. He was a brilliant man with a great sense of humor. Jerry graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Jerry was a member of ASHRAE. He went on to work for OG&E, Benham Group and International Environmental retiring in 2004. On their first date, Jerry declared he wanted to call Barbara a name no one else called her. He decided on Bobbie and the name stuck-so did Jerry. They were married May 19, 1961 and were happily married for the following 60 years. They had two wonderful children, David and Tamara. Jerry was active in the children's lives; helping coach their baseball, softball and basketball teams. They enjoyed camping as a family and riding their motorcycles. He was a great Dad who loved his family. Jerry had serious health issues beginning in 2006. The man who had been a perfectionist became agreeable to anything. He enjoyed drives in the country, visiting his mother-in-law, going to the casino and feeding the prairie dogs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Lavern and Genevieve Zelenka Frisk, and sister LaVon Frisk Blubaugh.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife Bobbie Frisk; son David Michael Frisk and wife Lorrie Reed Frisk of Midwest City, OK; daughter Tamara Frisk Lorson and husband Joe Lorson of Anthem, AZ; mother-in-law Louise Hart Whitlow of Enid, OK; grandchildren Jarad Frisk, Courtney Lorson, Connor Lorson, Rachel Golden, Ashley Eberhardt; three great-grandchildren and his constant companion, his fur baby, Scooter.

A service to celebrate Jerry's life will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 10, 2021 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Oklahoma City. He will be laid to rest that day at 2:30 p.m., at Memorial Park Cemetery in Enid, OK.
