The funeral for Evelyn L. Davis, 89, will be 2 p.m. Monday in Henninger-Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery

She was born Aug. 10, 1913, in Meno to Peter and Dena Eck and died Friday, July 18, 2003.

She graduated from Enid High School, then married Claud A. Davis in 1936. She was manager of Emerson Junior High School cafeteria and retired from Enid School System after 27 years of service. She moved to Independence, Mo., then to Sapulpa. She was a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Bixby.

Surviving are one daughter, Coletta Gaddis of Tulsa; one son, Charles of Independence; one sister, Josephine Breese of Moravia, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and three sisters.
