January 14, 1937 - June 16, 2018

Funeral service for Maxine Dugan, 81 of Enid, will be Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery with arrangement by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Maxine was born on January 14, 1937 in Haskell County, Texas to Grady and Marie (Hancock) McWhorter and passed away on June 16, 2018 in Enid.

Maxine married Jack Dugan on February 9, 1952. They began married life in Borger, Texas. Maxine and Jack had three beautiful daughters before making Enid, Oklahoma their home. She loved gardening, sewing, crafts, and decorating cakes. She worked as a CNA at the Enid Memorial Hospital in the OB department. Maxine loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was an amazing seamstress. Maxine loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; her parents; one sister; two brother-in-laws; and one grandson.

She is survived by her children, Dalene (Jerry) Hueppelsheuser, Karon (Donnie) Cross, and Susan (Vernon) Purdy; seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald (Millie) McWhorter; and two sisters, Francis Woods and Paula Stricklin.
