A memorial service for Ronald Wayne Driskell, age 55, of Plano, Texas, formerly of Enid, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Tines officiating. Burial will be at a later time in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Ronald was born July 12, 1953, in Oklahoma City to Dale A. and Fay Barrick Driskell and passed away Thursday, Sept. 11, 2008, in Plano, Texas.

When Ron was two years old, the family moved to Enid. He attended Phillips University and later received his bachelor's degree in geology from Oklahoma State University. He met and married Katherine Kenyon while living in Dallas, Texas. They have a son, Sage, who is currently in China as an OU exchange student. After pursuing a career in geology, Ron became a financial consultant for Fidelity Investments and later the Charles Schwab Company.

Ron is survived by his wife, Kathy and son, Sage of Plano, Texas; mother, Fay Driskell of Enid; brothers, Gary of Hennessey and Russell of Tulsa; a niece, Gina Denten of Dove Creek, Colo.; and a nephew, Chad Driskell of Enid. He was preceded in death by his father.
