ENID — Funeral services for John G. "Jack" Dilldine, 68, Enid, will be Monday, November 21, 2011, at 10 a.m. at First Assembly of God Church, with Pastor Les Washnock officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Jack was born on October 17, 1943, in Concord, California, the son of Ethel and Jess Dilldine, and passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, November 17, 2011 at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.

Jack retired from the Enid News and Eagle in February 2009 after "forever and a day." He was known as "The Fastest Ad Man in the West." Jack was a larger-than-life man, with a stubborn streak a mile wide. He shot straight from the hip, literally, and stood by what he said. Jack loved his kids, adored his grandkids and left this world surrounded by all of them. He will be missed, and we will laugh constantly at our memories of him. "That's just the way it is."

Survivors include Jack's daughters, Kelli and husband Wesley Hopkins of Jet, Oklahoma, and Juli and husband Joseph Pack of Enid; grandchildren, Sunna Ra, Mason, Matti, Sydne and Laisa.

Memorial contributions may be made in Jack's memory to Lifeshare of Oklahoma with Stittsworth coordinating. Condolences may be made to the family online at www.stittsworth funeralservices.com.
