OBITUARY

The funeral for E’loise S. De Vinney, 93, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Keith Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. She was born July 23, 1913, in Blair to David Alexander and Annetta Josephine Stayton and died Monday, March 26, 2007, at Integris Bass Bap-tist Health Center.

She lived in Blair until her elementary school years when she moved with her family to Altus, where she graduated from high school. She worked at AAA Program and First National Bank of Altus. She was elected court clerk for two terms. She moved to Enid in 1947. She married Beaumont Bur-nett June 13, 1943. He died Sept. 20, 1967. In May 1968, she married Albert A. “Bert” De Vinney. He died May 20, 1994.

She was elected Garfield County court clerk and served 38 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Altrussa Club, Women’s Club, Republican Women’s Club and Enid Air Force Association. Surviving are one stepdaughter, Lois Jon Grillo of Las Vegas; three stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

In addition to both husbands, Beaumont and Albert, she was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
