Wayne Eugene Daniels

Funeral service for Wayne Daniels, 85, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Steve Williams officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Wayne was born to Clarence and Bernice (Fee) Daniels on April 29, 1930, on the family farm near Dover, Okla., and passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015, in Enid, Okla.

Wayne graduated from Dover High School in 1948.

He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1950-1953.

Wayne graduated from Phillips University in 1962, with a Bachelor of Science business administration degree after eight years of night school. He worked for Union Equity for nearly 40 years.

He is survived by three children, Steven Daniels and wife Amy of McLean, Va., and their children, Blake and Taylor Daniels, Terri Skinner of Jacksonville, Fla., and her children, Matt and Luke Skinner, and Doug Daniels of Enid and his children, Brandon and Kaitlyn Daniels; three great-grandchildren; sister, Zella Reagin of Levelland, Texas; and very good friend, Greg Skinner of Enid.

Wayne was preceded in death by his brother, Wilford “Bill” Daniels and two sisters, Opal Riggin and Alice Richardson.
