Funeral service for Hazel L. Dalton, 74, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Steve Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be 5:30-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Hazel was born to William Eugene and Minnie Ethyl (Chaffin) Mantz on Dec. 18, 1938, in Woodward, Okla., and passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, in Enid.

Hazel grew up in Woodward, and moved to Enid in 1952.

On Oct. 8, 1954, she married Floyd Dalton in Wichita Falls, Texas, and they made their home in Enid. She was a homemaker and bookkeeper for the family business. Hazel enjoyed crocheting, knitting and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, David Headlee and Eugene Mantz.

Hazel is survived by her husband, Floyd Dalton of the home; four children, Gloria J. Deitz (Byron) of Tomball, Texas, Rose M. Vickers (Vic) of Tuttle, Floyd D. Dalton Jr., and Marilyn J. Mason (Kevin), all of Enid; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Avana Decker of Meno, and Iola Gonzales of Enid; two brothers, Leon Headlee of Lubbock, Texas, and Oris Headlee of Lumberton, Texas.

October 20, 1934 - January 24, 2019

Floyd Melvin Dalton was born October 20, 1934, to Troy and Gussie Nickelson-Dalton in Mulhall, OK. He passed away peacefully January 24, 2019, in Enid, OK. Floyd is remembered for his love of music and the way he shared his music through his own talents and recordings.

Floyd is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel; his parents, Troy and Gussie; four brothers; two sisters; and a granddaughter. He is survived by his three daughters and one son, Gloria Deitz and husband Byron, Rose Vickers, Marilyn Mason and husband Kevin, and Floyd Jr. He leaves behind five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, his brother Leonard and sister Deloris Buck.

Visitation is Monday, January 28, 2019, at Amy Stittsworth Funeral Services, 2420 N. Washington, Enid, OK. Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, 6405 Memorial Drive, Enid, OK. In lieu of services, a Celebration of Floyd's Life will be announced at a later date.
