BEN RALEIGH DALKE

The funeral for Ben Raleigh Dalke, 95, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Calvary Baptist Church. The Revs. Steve Williams and Everett Ohls will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

He was born July 7, 1911, in Enid to Peter L. and Elizabeth Regier Dalke and died Thursday, July 5, 2007, in Enid. He grew up in Enid and attended Enid schools. He married Meurle Lula Scott March 11, 1934, in Bison. They made their home in Enid. He worked for Union Equity for 30 years, where he was an assistant supervisor of Elevator B. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for 65 years.

Surviving are his wife, Meurle, of the home; two sons, Bob Dalke of Enid and Gerald Dalke of Edmond; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Calvary Baptist Church.
