Memorial Park Cemetery



February 12, 1930 - December 21, 2021

A Celebration of Life for Neva Barlow will be Monday, December 27, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. in Christian Church of the Covenant, with Pastor Chris Ryan officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. The family will receive guests Sunday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Neva was born to Hollis and Zilpha Franklin in Anthony, Kansas, on February 12, 1930, and died on December 21, 2021, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She graduated from Anthony High School and married Gene Barlow in 1950. Her last 20 years of employment were at Wood Production, where she retired in 2002. Neva was a member of Christian Church of the Covenant, where she has served as Diaconate, Secretary of the Board and received the Leo Christensen Award for her service. She enjoyed playing bridge and meeting twice a month with her pudder sisters, Barbara, Sandy, Carolyn and Billie. Neva enjoyed many special times with them.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Ron Hall; grandson, Chris; three grandchildren, Matthew, Hailey and Colton (who were the love of her life), all from Tulsa, Oklahoma; many nieces and nephews; and extended family Lynne and Keith Clingman and Tom Taylor Jr.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Gene Barlow; parents; three brothers; and two sisters.
