Services for Marion John "Jack" Austin, 82, will be at 10 AM Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter – Day Saints, with Bishop Jim Dixon officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery directed by Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home. Austin died Saturday.

He was born in Winnebago, Minnesota, on March 30, 1905. On January 18, 1932, he married Helen Dalley. Austin attended the State School of Agriculture in Minnesota and lived in Washington, D. C. and Long Beach, California where he operated Austin's Furniture Store before retiring in 1967. He moved to Enid in 1985.

He was Pres. of Long Beach Retail Furniture Association and a member of the Optimist Club and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter – Day Saints.

He is survived by his wife, Helen; two sons, Allan of Fredonia, New York, and Roger of Enid; a brother, Sidney of Fallbrook, California; a sister, Alice Sloan of Long Beach; and 10 grandchildren.
