The funeral for Dax Tyler Atkinson, six month old Enid resident will be Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 2:00PM at the Willow View Methodist Church. Pastor Lesly Broadbent will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Visitation with family will be Tuesday evening from 6PM-8PM in the Henninger-Hinson Chapel. Dax was born February 9, 2012 in Enid to Ty and Brandi (Fossett) Atkinson and died Thursday, August 30, 2012 at OU Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was baptized at Willow View Methodist Church. Dax and his family were giving at this terrible time and gave the gift of life by letting Dax be a organ donor through Life Share.

He is survived by his parents; Ty and Brandi Atkinson, his grandparents; Ann Fossett, Chris Atkinson, and Tracy Bittle, all of Enid. Great-grandparents, Lorraine Watson of Enid, Sally and Larry Schultz of Enid, and Betty Thurman of Kremlin.Aunts and Uncles; Butch and Roxi Hein of Enid, and Christopher and Misti Atkinson of Perry, and cousins; Trixi Hein of Enid and Claire Atkinson of Perry.

He was preceded in death by his grandpa; Jon Fosset, great-grandpas; E.J. Thurman and Robert Atkinson.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home for the family.
