The funeral for Wanda Pearl Arnold, 79, will be 2 PM Saturday at Davis Park Christian Church. The Rev. Allen Seibel and Tom Frisbie will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

She was born March 12, 1923, in Weatherford to Henry and Rose Downey Rodman, and died Tuesday, February 4, 2003, at Garland, Texas.

She was a 1940 graduate of Enid high school and attended Phillips University. She married Robert R. Arnold in May 1942. He died April 28, 1988.

She was Secretary for Davis Park Christian Church for several years, Secretary for Baker Manufactory for 23 years before retiring, worked for Garfield County Election Board for several years and was a volunteer for St. Mary's Hospital. She was an active member of Davis Park Christian Church since 1941, where she was a member of the Uplifters Sunday school class and Women's Council group.

Surviving are two daughters, Jerry Lea Venz of Tuttle, and Diana Bradley of Sachse, Texas; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Melda Batchelder of Enid; and one brother, Lloyd Rodman of Sand Springs.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert.

Memorials be made to the Davis Park Christian Church Building Fund, or Oklahoma Medical Research, Cancer Division, with the funeral home acting as custodian of the funds.
