The funeral for Catherine "Katie" Arnold, 77, 620 N. 12th, who died in St. Mary's Hospital Wednesday, will be at 2 PM Sunday in the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel.

The Rev. Tom Frisbie, senior minister of Davis Park Christian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

She was born August 2, 1912, in Larimar, Iowa, to Charles and Ida Mae Hart. She came to Enid in 1924 from Iowa. She attended Enid schools.

She married Howard F. Arnold on September 2, 1961, and he died in August 1983. She worked 17 years at Armour Creameries, seven years at Emrick Transfer, 12 years for Sanford – Stunkle Drug Store and 10 years for Belltone Hearing Aid. She retired in 1980.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Buster (Eunice) Barnes of Enid and Ruth Bradley of Dayton, Ohio; a son, Harold Hays of Amarillo, Texas; two step sons, Oscar Stanley Arnold of Enid and W. A. "Bill" Arnold of Missouri City, Texas; a brother, Charles Addison Hart of Enid; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great – grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
