The funeral for Bill J. Arnold, 56, will be 11 AM Wednesday at Christ United Methodist Church. Judy Bradford will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.

He was born February 4, 1943, in Dennison, Texas, to Bill and Dora Holder Arnold and died Saturday, November 27, 1999, at University Hospital in Oklahoma City.

He was raised in Dennison, Texas, and later attended Okmulgee Tech. He lived for a time in Fort Worth, Texas, moving to Enid in 1972. He was employed by Enid Memorial Hospital, then Enid Regional Hospital as director of maintenance and housekeeping. He began work at Integris Bass Baptist Pavilion in maintenance in 1996.

On December 15, 1985, he married Cheryl Reames at First United Methodist Church. He was a member of Christ United Methodist and was active in Boy Scouts and Little League.

Surviving are his wife, Cheryl of the home; one son, Keith of Oklahoma city; one daughter, Hope AnnaGrace Yangsu Arnold of the home; his mother, Dora "Peggy" Hollingsworth of Dennison; three brothers, Glenn Allison of Sherman, Texas, Ronald Allison of Biloxi, Mississippi, and Michael Arnold of Fort Worth; two sisters, Patricia Caylor of Sherman and Jane Brittain of Dennison; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Hope Arnold Educational Fund or Holsinger Home.
