Services for Wayne R. Anneler, 74, Enid, will be 2 PM Thursday at the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul J. Enabnit, Sr. officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Anneler, who died Tuesday, was born on July 26, 1911, on a farm near Noble. He graduated from Putnam City high school in 1932. On December 20, 1933, he married June Carrie Jones at Capitol Hill. The couple established their home in Oklahoma City.

He worked as a warehouse superintendent for a glass and paint company in Oklahoma City and Enid until his retirement in 1966. He later worked as a security guard.

He was a member of the Davis Park Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Dwayne E. Anneler, Houston, Texas; two grandchildren, and a sister, Loretta Flannagan, Oklahoma City.

Memorials in his name may be made to St. Mary's Hospital children's floor or to the Garfield County Eldercare. The funeral home will serve as custodian of the fund.
