Cecil P. Andrews, 73, 901 W. Cherokee, died early Sunday morning in a local hospital where he was admitted to last Tuesday.

Born in Kenesaw, Nebraska on June 6, 1900, he moved with his parents to Oklahoma in 1914. He returned to Kenesaw to graduate from high school, then moved back to Oakwood where he was employed by the Oakwood Bank.

Andrews married the former Marjorie Horner on June 13, 1931 at Pawhuska. They lived at Clinton, then in 1935, moved to Enid where he has lived since. For the past 23 years, he has been associated with the Oklahoma Paper Company, retiring in January 1974.

Andrews was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and he served as a Deacon. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 80 of which she was a Past Master, and of the Night Templer, Hi – 12, North Central Iris Society, Men's Garden Club, and Enid Amateur Radio Club.

Funeral services for Andrews will be conducted at 2 PM Wednesday in the First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Leslie G. Everitt officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home. Masons will be seated as honorary pallbearers.

Survivors include his wife Marjorie of the home; one son, Milton, Washington, D. C.; One daughter, Yvonne Reed, Enid; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. William (Viola) Bruce, Coweta, and L'Ava Allen of Waggoner. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
