The funeral for Mrs. Leon (Margaret) Anderson, 68, 823 W. Maple, will be at 11 AM Wednesday at the First Baptist Church. Dr. Eugene Stark will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery directed by Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home.

She died Sunday at a local hospital after a short illness.

The former Margaret McFadden was born May 28, 1919, in Ringwood where she graduated from high school in 1937. She also was a lifetime member of the Auxiliary of the Disabled American Veterans and had worked at Bass Memorial Baptist Hospital since February 1, 1964. She married Leon V. Anderson in 1940.

Survivors include her husband, Leon; a daughter, Stephanie Powell of Enid; three sons, Victor of Houston, Texas, Gary and Paul, both of Enid; her mother, Thelma Ritter of Okeene; a brother, Jerry Dean McFadden of Okeene; two sisters, Mrs. Loyd (Dorothy) Gibson of Enid and the Mrs. Ed (Peggy) Bode of Okeene; and two granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her father, two brothers, an infant sister and a granddaughter.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the American Heart Association.
