Roy H. Allison, 77, 610 W. Rush, died in a local hospital early Tuesday following a period of ill health. Funeral services will be at 2 PM Thursday in the First Church of the Nazarene. Rev. George C. Prentice will officiate. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

He was born February 9, 1895 in Mutual. He came to Enid in 1949 from Woodward and had lived here since.

He was a former barber and in recent years he was employed at Vance Air Force Base, retiring in 1960.

He was a veteran of World War I serving in the U. S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife Georgia, of the home; two sons, Dr. Robert Allison, Beaumont, Texas and Lieutenant Colonel Cecil Allison of Boston, Massachusetts; one daughter, Mrs. Frank long of Ashland, Kansas; four sisters, Mrs. J. W. Phillips of Clinton, Mrs. Lila James of San Bernardino, California, Mrs. Bill Keith of Wichita, Kansas, Mrs. Maude Hicks of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two brothers, Charlie Allison of Wellington, Kansas and Ralph Allison of Panhandle, Texas; his stepmother, Mrs. Bertha Arthur of Colorado Springs.
