A Celebration of Life for ErmaLee Alley, 88, Enid, is 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, at Memorial Park Cemetery Garden Chapel, with the Rev. Vernon Lee officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

ErmaLee was born Nov. 7, 1928, in Enid to Roy Daykin and Katherine (Sands) Daykin, and passed away Monday, Dec. 19, 2016. ErmaLee grew up in Enid and attended Enid Public Schools. She worked in the cafeteria at Glenwood Public School, and later worked at Ted's Hallmark in Oakwood Mall. ErmaLee was a member of Casa La Mia Garfield Co. Home Extension Group, and also the Glenwood Neighbors Home Extension Group and was past president of the Garfield County Extension Service. She was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Gerald Alley.

She is survived by two sons, Terry Alley and wife, Cynthia, of Ringwood; Larry Alley and wife, Yvonne, of Rockwall, Texas; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Leroy Daykin and wife, Shirley, of Enid.

Memorials in ErmaLee's name may be made to OMRF Cancer Division, or the American Heart Association, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.

The funeral for Gerald G. Alley, 56, 206 Deer Run, who died early Sunday of an apparent heart attack, will be at 2 PM Tuesday in Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Ron Fellemende, senior minister of First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Alley was born December 5, 1926, in Enid to Jess and Myrtle Goble Alley. After his schooling, he married Erma Lee Daykin October 27, 1945, in the home of her parents.

Alley was employed for the past 33 years as a welder at Speedstar. He was a member of First Baptist Church, past President of Dudes and Dolls Square Dance Club and had received his 25 year membership with AMCA Industrial Corporation.

Survivors include his wife, Erma; two sons, Terry and Larry Alley, both of Enid; two grandchildren; and two nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Memorials in his name may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Heart Division, with the funeral home serving as custodian.
