April 24, 1954 - August 09, 2001

A Mass of Christian burial for Gene Allen Jr., 47, will be at 10 am. Monday, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The Rev. Ernest Flusche will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery . Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7:00 pm., Sunday, in the Henninger -Allen Funeral Home Chapel.

Gene was born April 24, 1954 in Enid to Lloyd Gene and Millie L. Musgrove Allen and passed away , Thursday, August 9, 2001 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.

Gene graduated from Enid High School in 1972. He drove trucks until 1995 when he took over operation of his dad's business, Allen Oil Company. On October 24, 1981, he married Rose Acuna in Tulsa.

Gene was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. He was a passionate Harley Davidson rider and was a member of the Harley Owners Group.

Gene is survived by his wife, Rose; sons, Matthew, Jeffrey and Jeremy all of the home; son, Lloyd Wayne Allen and his wife, Julie of Guthrie; daughter Tina Scott of Guthrie; his mother, Millie "Bonnie" Allen; two sisters, Bonnie Jean Kitchens and her husband, Jessie of Weatherford, Kathy Wilkins and her husband, Ben of Enid; Glen Allen of Enid, Jerry Lee Allen of Broken Arrow; three grandchildren, Megan, Chastidy and Alexandria; many nieces and nephews.

Gene was preceded in death by his father.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Cancer Division or Our Daily Bread.
