Clara Gile Alge

Nash – Graveside services for Clara Gile Alge, 71, who died late Monday in a Cherokee hospital, will be at 2 PM Thursday in Memorial Park Cemetery at Enid. The Rev. George Hair will officiate. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek.

Mrs. Alge was born July 13, 1913, at Wilmington, Delaware, to Frank and Edith Morton. She attended schools in Memphis, Tennessee, and moved to Oklahoma City from Delaware in 1932. On May 3, 1935, she and George Wayne Alge were married at Purcell. Her husband died August 1, 1977.

Mrs. Alge was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and a member of the Presbyterian Church. She had lived at Nash the past 45 years.

Her only survivors are two cousins, Donald Morton, Wilmington, Delaware, and Mrs. Mike (Mildred) Marcia, Eustis, Florida.

Memorials in her name may be made to the Volunteer Fire Department at Nash with the funeral home serving as custodian of the funds.
