Memorial Park Cemetery





Graveside service for Hazel G. Acton, 93, will be at 2 PM Monday in Memorial Park Cemetery, with Tom Frisbie, minister of Davis Park Christian Church, officiating. Services are under the direction of Ladusau - Evans Funeral Home.

She was born May 8, 1900, in Major County to George W. and Alice Beatrice Shaffer Reed and died Thursday, March 10, 1994, in Austin, Texas. She lived most of her life in the Enid area, with the exception of the last five years in Austin. She married John Acton in 1922. He preceded her in death in 1978. She was a member of the Davis Park Christian Church and a life member of the Enid Rebekah Lodge No. 21.

Surviving are a son, Jerry of Austin; four grandchildren and eight great - grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five sisters.
