Mildred “Milli” Louise Abercrombie, 92, of Oklahoma City, previously of Enid, Okla., and Grand Junction, Colo., passed away of natural causes on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014, at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City.

Milli was born in Three Sands, Okla., in February 1922. She, her brother and sister moved to Enid with their mother in the early 1930s.

She married Clyde W. Reeser in November 1938. In 1947, they established Reeser’s Optical in Enid, later expanding to Oklahoma City and Tulsa.

In 1975, she married Ray Abercrombie from Cut Bank, Mont., where he had his oil supply company.

They lived in Denver, Colo., Cut Bank, Mont., and later settled in Grand Junction, Colo., where Milli owned and operated “Milli’s Bridal Boutique.”

Milli loved to play bridge, water and snow ski, knit, travel and enjoy her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Abercrombie; both parents, Emery and Lucy Long; brother, Elmer Long; sister, Lucille Engel; and her first husband, Clyde Reeser. Milli is survived by daughter, Donna (Jack) Ward; son, Don (Peggy) Reeser; daughter, Deanna Reeser; stepson, Jerry (Marlene) Abercrombie; stepson, Tom (Nancy) Abercrombie; stepdaughter, Susan Abercrombie Imhoff; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

A private ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. May 8, 2015, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Enid, Okla.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Integris Hospice House, 13920 Quailbrook Drive, Oklahoma City, OK 73134. Phone number is (405) 751-5557.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Mercy Hospital’s doctors and nursing staff and Integris Hospice House for the care, comfort and support offered in Milli’s final days.
