Linda ADAMS

Memorial Park Cemetery

Linda Adams
April 25, 1948 - June 4, 2023

Graveside services for Linda Adams, 75, Enid resident, will be held at 11am on Monday, June 12, 2023 in Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel with Chaplain Gary Miller officiating. Committal prayers and interment are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Linda was born on April 25, 1948 in Hennessey, Oklahoma, the daughter of Marion Joseph and Joann Cooper, and passed away peacefully on June 4, 2023 in Enid after a courageous battle with several health issues.

She was raised in Hennessey, where she enjoyed growing up on the family farm with her two brothers and several animals. She graduated from Hennessey High School with the class of 1966. During her time at Hennessey High School, Linda met her high school sweetheart, Leo Adams, whom she married on June 6, 1966. They had one son, Randy, and made Hennessey their home until 1976 when they moved to Enid where they would remain lifelong residents.

Survivors include her son, Randy of Tulsa; older brother, Gary and wife Diane Cooper of Oklahoma City; sister-in-law, Rosann Cooper of Wagoner, Oklahoma; several beloved nieces, nephews & cousins and several dear friends. She was preceded in death by both her parents, Marion & Joann; her husband, Leo; her younger brother Jim "Jimmy" Cooper and one of her lifelong best friends, Judy Hudson.

The family has requested, in lieu of flowers, that memorial donations be made to the donor's choice of charities; some of her personal favorites were the local Food Bank and the Humane Society (Linda was a lifelong animal lover and rejoiced in all her furry "grandkids" always ending EVERY conversation with her son in telling him "Be sure to give Sammy a pat on the head from his grandma.").
