Further details of the death of E. J. Clark by his neighbors
Erastus Jackson Clark, son of Samuel and Mary Clark was born May 2, 1831 in Tippicanoe Co., Ind. and died March 24, 1898 at his home near Imo at the age of 68 years 10 mo. and 22 days.
Funeral services were conducted in the United Brethern Church at Imo Sat. at 1 p. m. after which his remains were laid to rest in the Imo Cemetery. Rev. T. P. Earon officiated.
Mr. Clark leaves an aged companion and four children to mourn his absence, but while it is their loss, it is his eternal gain.
