Joseph O. Newcomb, 1112 Seneca, died Monday morning at a local hospital after a four month illness.
Born in Winfield , Kan. Newcomb came to OKlahoma at an early age, settling with his parents east of Waukomis. He was a resident of Enid the past 45 years, a veteran of WW 1 and a member of American Legion Argonne Post 4.
Survivors include his widow, Virginia of the home, a son Joseph L. Newcomb, Casper, WY; two grandsons James and Stephen, both of Casper, WY.
Funeral services will be in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with a reader of the First Church of Christ Scientist officiating. Burial will be in the Hackberry Cemetery at 2 p.m.
